Torstein grew up in Notodden, Telemark. Like most Norwegians he started skiing at a young age and was part of a ski jumping club as a young man. He started Telemark skiing in his youth, left his town to go to university and the military before joining the workforce. He eventually took a job in 2009 with Rottefella after answering an ad in the newspaper. He was involved with the sales and marketing of Rottefella’s 2nd NTN binding called the Freedom and in 2016 he become the CEO of Rottefella, a position that he still currently holds. #SpreadTelemark #FreeheelLife
