When I opened up the Freeheel Life shop in 2014 it was me and Ashley working there. Taylor showed up a little later that 1st year and Alex eventually joined the family the year after. I have always said that Freeheel Life is the great Telemark experiment and these guys were the first to really put it on the line with me and get this place up and running. There are others that are part of this tight family but this core 4 definitely has a special place in my heart.
In 2017 we were invited by Pierre Mouyaude of The M Equipment to travel to The Black Shoes Telemark Festival in Tignes, France. In Today's episode we take you along for the adventure as we recount our experience of going overseas, meeting The Black Shoes, skiing great snow, and enjoying the culture.
