Today I’m super excited to get two super rad guys on the podcast that I’ve worked close with over the past 5 years or so — Todd Herilla and Taylor Johnson. We are going to do a follow-up to last week’s podcast, specifically about the new Freeheel Life skis, The Protector 95 and 105.
Todd’s actually our first alpine skier on the podcast and has a deep rooted history in skiing, tuning and ski building. Taylor and I have worked with Todd since 2015 when we did our first small batch of Freeheel Life skis. We are going to be going over Todd’s experience as a ski maker, how we proto-typed the Protector skis, what materials we chose, and all the deep dive stuff to help you as a listener and Freeheel Lifer get to know the skis that we are going to be producing here in Salt Lake City.
