The Freeheel Life Podcast

Aug 2, 2021

Alex learned how to Telemark ski in high school after seeing his uncle doing it and knew that was the path for him. After building bike rims as a job for a short time, he found a gig at DPS skis cutting out skis and doing the finish tunes on them. In 2015 he became the original Freeheel Life Ski Tech — mounting 100s of Telemark bindings for customers, for three years, as well as being an integral part of building the business into what it is today.

He currently lives in Angel Fire, New Mexico where he is a Ski Patroller and Bike Patroller for the resort. He’s also a current M-Equipment athlete. He helps with feedback on their products while serving the public on the slope and in-between backcountry adventures in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
