Ken Emrick is one of the founders of the Summit Telemark Series, one of the premiere telemark race series in the late 1970s and 80s. It was started in Summit County, Colorado and quickly spread to multiple resorts in the state and beyond. He currently teaches skiing at Winter Park, CO and lives in Golden, Co.

Weston moved out west from New York in December 2007 after graduating from SUNY Cortland with a degree in Sports Management. He grew up visiting the Wind River Range in Wyoming and skiing across the West. He runs Inspired Summit Adventure company with his wife Shaun and is based in Park City, UT.
